Welcome to our newly reopened restaurant (November 2023). For your ease and pleasure we have created a page for all persons not so `au fait´ with the German language. Please feel free to contact us in English any time. Our main aim is to make our guests feel welcome and to invite you to enjoy our food in such stunning location. The Lake Zug is famous for its sunsets and what better place to enjoy a great meal with a view.
Our menu changes daily. "This is how we believe life remains exciting" and we can surprise you over and over again. A lovely selection of international wines is part of the experience too and naturally we tempt you with our desserts to fall in love with. To give you a culinary insight, please see below a small excerpt of our menu...
Once in a while, we also present the selection of our dishes directly at your table. Of course, we have an open ear, if there are any special requests you have. (Vegetarians and vegans, we got you covered too!)

We are a husband and wife team who have been working in hospitality for 30 + years across the globe and most recently in Germany where we ran a small boutique hotel in the Black Forest. We enjoy what we do and aim for new challenges on this lovely journey through Life. So with the wish to live close to water, we found this perfect spot here in Oberwil by Zug. There are a lot of lovely stories to share if time allows when you visit or just come and enjoy the sunset with us.

If you wish to reserve a table please call us or send an email including your phone number as we may need to ring back to verify details with you. For the evening service, we are happy to accept reservations for families with children from the age of 8. Sundays we open all day (11:30 am - 5 pm) , so if you fancy a scrumptious late lunch, best to reserve a table
Our opening days/times are below. We do however close after lunch at 2 pm and re-open from 6 pm (except on Sundays).
If you are planning a small event/gathering we have some lovely ideas for you. Please discuss with us and we can let you know what options we have available for small groups.

If you are arriving by boat, please note that we have docking spaces and a pier exclusive for the use of our guests with confirmed reservations at the restaurant.
Kindly note that we offer two different dining concepts - Upstairs Restaurant is more along the lines of fine dining and the downstairs summer terrace small beach style menu with salads, snacks and summer dishes. Email or call us for more information.
