A little bit about us...
We’re Genevieve and Roger —
a husband and wife team with over 30 years in hospitality, shaped by experiences in kitchens and hotels around the world. From the Med, to Central America, to the Small Caribbean Islands and lastly our most recent project in Germany, where we re-styled a 400-year old half-timber house into a boutique hotel and operated for 5 years. Thereafter a little travelling and new inspiration was called for - and with the wish to live closer to water, we found Rigiblick.
Now, our family-owned restaurant in Zug brings that global journey into every detail — from the plating to the music to the view. For us, a meal isn’t just about taste. It’s a multisensory dining experience, inspired by the places we’ve lived, the people we’ve cooked for, and the joy of welcoming you to our table.

We simply like to enjoy what we do and aim for new challenges on this lovely journey through Life.
There are a lot of lovely stories to share if time allows when you visit or just come and enjoy the sunset with us.

Getting in touch...
If you wish to reserve a table please call us or send an email including your phone number as we may need to ring back to verify details with you. For the evening service, we are happy to accept reservations for families with children from the age of 8. Sundays we open all day (11:30 am - 4 pm) , so if you fancy a scrumptious late lunch, best to reserve a table
Our opening days/times are below. We do however close after lunch at 2 pm and re-open from 6 pm (except on Sundays).
If you are planning a small event/gathering we have some lovely ideas for you. Please discuss with us and we can let you know what options we have available for small groups.
If you are arriving by boat, please note that we have docking spaces and a pier exclusive for the use of our guests with confirmed reservations at the restaurant.
Our Summer Terrace is closed during the Winter months.

Valued Guests,
We are a dining restaurant and aim to offer each guest a relaxed and well-prepared culinary experience. On particularly busy days, we are therefore only able to welcome guests with prior reservations.
If you wish to visit us spontaneously, we kindly ask you to give us a quick call to check if a table is available for dining. We always strive to make the possible possible — but we hope for your understanding if we are not always able to accommodate walk-in guests without a reservation.
Starting around mid-June 2025, our lakefront terrace will be open (weather permitting) for “Drinks by the Lake” / “Beverages Only”, without the need to dine.
